The Department of Science and Technology (DoST)-Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) has extended financial assistance to an association of seaweed farmers that has members in the coastal communities of Dumalinao and Pagadian City in Zamboanga del Sur. The assistance was made under the project titled “Province-Wide Technology Adoption of DoST-Funded Greenhouse Permanent/ Floating Type Seaweed Dryer with Foldable Siding for the Seaweed Farmers” implemented by DoSTRegion 9 through its Provincial Science and Technology Center in Zamboanga del Sur with assistance of the provincial government headed by Governor Victor Yu.
