In a rebid invitation published on Thursday, BFAR announced the order will be funded through the 2015 General Appropriations Act. The invitation specified twin marine diesel power plants of a combined 3,000 horsepower per boat capable of generating the speed of 18 knots when loaded lightly. It also specified the need to accommodate at least 60 people.
