Seven persons died when fire engulfed a ferry off Real, Quezon on Monday morning, the Philippine Coast Guard said. The Coast Guard said five women and two men were killed in the fire on the MV Mercraft 2, and 24 passengers were injured and treated at the Claro M. Recto Hospital in Infanta, Quezon.
