    Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-Central Luzon (BFAR3) conducted freshwater aquaculture training to some 150 fish farmers here which is expected to boost the production of freshwater fish in the province. The training is composed of shot courses on tilapia and catfish tending via BFAR’s Regional Fisheries Training and Fisherfolk Coordinating Division. It prepared lectures and resource speakers to tackle the basic principles of freshwater aquaculture as coordinated by the BFAR3 Provincial Fisheries Officer (PFO) Lanie Lamyong in Tarlac.
