Over 200 government employees of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in the City of San Fernando and partner agencies converged in a fun run and cleanup activity in support of the annual celebration of the Earth Day. The group collected over 2,000 kilos of solid waste from canals and creeks within the Diosdado Macapagal Government Center in Pampanga. The event, dubbed as “KapaligiRUN: Kalinisan at Kalusugan, Dahil Ikaw, Ako, Tayo ang Kalikasan,” was a plogging activity that combined running with cleaning and picking up of trash.
