Hydroponics farming research center launched in Roxas

A center for modern farming has been launched here — the Indoor Hydroponics Farming Research Center at Doña Emeliana Alba Memorial School (DEAMS) in Barangay Pinaypayan Lanot. Hydroponic farming is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions in water, without soil. Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said indoor hydroponic farming is an alternative way of planting which can be adopted by households to ensuring food sustainability.
