    Excerpt
Amid the latest diplomatic protest lobbed by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) against China over its imposition of a fishing ban extending to the West Philippine Sea (WPS), its envoy to Manila paid the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) a visit Thursday. PCG commandant Admiral Artemio Abu said they were honored by the visit of Ambassador Huang Xilian of China at their headquarters in Port Area, Manila. Only media photographers were invited to the event. “This courtesy visit is intended to review friendly exchanges and cooperation between the China Coast Guard (CCG) and the PCG,” Admiral Abu said.
