The City Government of Navotas, through the Kadiwa Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA), distributed fishing nets to 92 registered fisherfolks. Of t his number, 75 received 500 to 700-meter nets used to catch various kinds of fishes, ang 17 got 200 to 400-meter mesh nets for shrimp and crab trolling. Mayor Toby Tiangco thanked the DA for their assistance in boosting livelihood opportunities for Navoteño fisherfolks.
