    Excerpt
A Vietnamese cargo ship ran aground on the coral reef here on Monday. The MV Ocean Liner III, which was removed after six hours, caused extensive damage, Neil Estevez, Bantay Dagat operations officer, said yesterday. “I cannot understand why the captain’s vessel committed an error in navigating the ship in broad daylight in an area which was only six to seven feet deep,” Estevez told a radio interview.
