local.seafdecaqd.extract | Say what you will about the outgoing Dutere administration but let’s give credit to Tatay Digong for saving Boracay Island from environmental destruction. No less than the Department of Environment and Natural Resources considers the rehabilitation of Boracay as the biggest environmental project of the administration. And there’s no doubt that it is a huge success, too. Matinlo na ang Boracay. Wala na illegal structures sa beach / shoreline. Wala na water pollution due to effective wastewater treatment. Wala na air and noise pollution, thanks to e-tricycles. Solid waste is no longer a problem because these are daily hauled to the mainland for proper disposal. | en |
