    Excerpt
Sorsogon is synonymous with the gentle giant whale sharks in Donsol town. Venturing further inland, the visitor learns that the province has heritage towns and other natural gems like waterfalls, lakes, firefly-laden rivers and sleepy volcanoes. From the rich flora and fauna, colorful culture and traditions, to delicious local food, plenty of “musttry” adventures can be checked off every intrepid traveler’s list while in Sorsogon. First, swimming with the “butanding” will introduce visitors to the mesmerizing underwater creatures. Unfortunately, I wasn’t quick enough on my fins to catch up.
