The Supreme Court yesterday stopped the appointee of Vice President and Foreign Affairs Minister Salvador Laurel from assuming his position as head of the Southeast Asian Development Center - Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD). Immediately ordered to vacate his office was retired navy Captain Juan de Leon, also a protegee of former defense minister Juan Ponce Enrile.
