The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) here has launched a training program for a total of 30 fisherfolk in the city in relation to fish processing. BFAR Provincial Fisheries Officer Neil Encinares said that the trainees included members of the Nay Stella Farmers and Fisherfolks of New Cabalan Association. He added that the aim of the training is to improve the quality and value of the fish products that they are selling.
