The remains of a missing fisherman was discovered in the municipality of Libertad in Antique province. According to Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Broderick Train, the remains of the fisherman is already on an advanced stage of decomposition when it was found along the shorelines of Barangay Banawon on Sunday morning. He was identified by relatives as Dionisio Bacaoco, a resident of Barangay Mapatag in Hamtic town. “Bacaoco was reported missing by his family on August 23 and immediately, a search and rescue operation was conducted,” Train said.
