    Excerpt
Chinese Coast Guard vessels followed and again tried to prevent the Philippine military from sending supplies to troops at Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea (WPS) last week. The Western Command (Wescom) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, however, still managed to bring provisions to personnel stationed at the grounded BRP Sierra Madre. Soldiers at Ayungin (Second Thomas) Shoal, which is part of Palawan, received fresh supplies from the military with the use of indigenous boats Unaizah Mae 2 and 3 to deliver the goods.
