The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) has started organizing at its main office in Tigbauan, Iloilo a specialized information centre to provide quality and effective information services on brackishwater aquaculture. To be known as Brackishwater Aquaculture Information System (BRIAS), the project will establish and consolidate a cooperative regional network of information on all brackishwater species among information centers and libraries initially in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and the Philippines.
