Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (Seafdec-AQD) chief Dr. Flor Lacanilao debunked landlord's contention that more than seven hectares are needed to run a prawn farm. The Seafdec-AQD chief, in an exclusive interview with BusinessWorld, said that contrary to landlords' claim, vast tracts of land is not necessary to run even an integrated prawn farm.
