The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) is presently conducting a training course in Prawn Hatchery/Nursery and Management (PRAWNHATCH, for short). The seven-week course which started last August 1 aims to develop skills in operating a small-scale prawn hatchery including broodstock and nursery, with emphasis on Penaeus monodon, the giant tiger prawn.
