A new system of managing fishpond increases the yield of milkfish (bangus) up to 3,000 kilos per hectare a year. Called Modular Pond System of Milkfish Production, the innovation in the culture of bangus will enable fishpond operators to raise six to eight crops of the fish a year without taxing the natural food supply in the pond.
