    Imported feeds may be hazardous to local prawn-growing operations, a study of the Department of Agriculture (DA) indicated. A research paper authored by Ramon Clarete and Angelina Cortez, agriculture department consultants, findings by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) indicating that "imported prawn feeds are vulnerable to oxidative rancidity that is associated with the red and blue diseases.
