The Provincial government is releasing 5,000 marketable size bangus (200 grammers) in open sea to celebrate the National Fish Conservation Week Oct. 16-21. "We are replenishing sabalus (bangus breeders) and tell the people that Iloilo is in deep crisis," said Fernando de Castro, chief of fisheries and of operations, provincial agriculture office.
