To conserve endangered mangrove areas, aquaculture experts have proposed the raising of fishpond rentals by 1,000 to 6,000 per cent. Fees should be raised to reflect the true value of mangrove habitats, said Efren Ed. Flores and Arsenio Camacho, members of the task force on mangroves, in a letter to the provincial governor.
