Bangus (milkfish) is fast vanishing due to the government's failure to prevent a severe shortage in bangus fingerlings. This was the warning issued yesterday by Edgardo Sarrosa, chairman of the Chamber of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (CFAR), the biggest national organization of various fishery and aquaculture associations, after receiving frantic calls for help from fishpond owners nationwide.
