    Excerpt
The embargo on shrimps imports into the United States since May 1 of this year has been hurting Philippine shrimps exports, it was reported by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC). The US embargo on shrimp import stipulates that the methods used in shrimp capture in open seas by harvesting countries do not inflict harm on marine turtle.
