A Philippine government-supported Southeast Asian Center based here will involve the local aquaculture industry in its research and development programs. This was announced by Dr. Rolando R. Platon, chief of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department during a recent meeting with government agencies, the academe, aquaculture practitioners, and other interested parties for the annual discussions and planning of R&D for the country's aquaculture industry.
