The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (Seafdec AQD) based in Tigbauan, Iloilo will inaugurate an integrated fish broodstock and hatchery pilot demonstration complex when it celebrates its 25th anniversary on July 9. Dr. Rolando Platon, Seafdec AQD chief, said the complex was constructed "to demonstrate marine fish breeding technology and Filipino technological capability not only to the Philippines but also to the entire Southeast Asia."
