Twenty participants from here and abroad are currently attending the six-week training course on Marine Fish Hatchery which opened last June 16 at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center, Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD). The course deals with seed production of marine fishes (bangus, lapu-lapu, apahap) including broodstock management and spawning, production of larval rearing, and transport of eggs, larvae and fry.
