The one-hectare seaweed demonstration farm off Manlot Island, Carles town, serves not only to showcase practical know-how and a nursery. It also serves as a learning center for students and public officials on field trips or practicum, something unexpected by fishery officials who welcomed it nevertheless, admitted provincial seaweed coordinator Ronnie Cobrador.
