    Excerpt
A first in the history of mudcrab culture in the country has been achieved. Researchers at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) here have spawned the mudcrab and raised larvae to megalopa (crablet) in the hatchery. They even went further by rearing the hatchery-reared megalopa to juvenile crab in nursery ponds.
