The preferred marine fishes or the brackish-water bangus because of their tasty flesh. That time is gradually receding into the past. One proof is the Field Day/Foodfest held recently in Bingawan town under the auspices of the Technology Verification Project of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD).
