A program to train local government unit (LGU) officials and aquaculture specialists on coastal resource management and sustainable aquaculture is on. Billed "Sustainable Aquaculture and Coastal Resources Management (SACRM)," the two-year program is now being implemented by the Tigbauan, Iloilo-based Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD), the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), and PROCESS Foundation Panay.
