    Excerpt
Malacañang is hoping that China would keep an open mind as President Duterte pushes for an expeditious crafting of the Code of Conduct (COC) on the South China Sea and raises the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) ruling that disapproved the expansive claims of China over the disputed waters during his bilateral meeting with President Xi Jinping today. The President left at 7 o'clock last night for his August 28 to September 1 official visit to China.
