Mayor Noel Rosal opened the road for travelers' and tourism activities after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases lowered the alert level of Bicol from Level 4 to Level 2. Along the welcome news, sailing enthusiasts across the country are racing for the country's first Oz Goose National Regatta Competition in Legazpi City as the city government opens its doors to tourists and tourism-related events here. Rosal said this is the first time that the city government of Legazpi allowed visitors from other regions and a national competition event since the government imposed the hardest lockdown two years ago because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Oz Goose National Regatta Competition in Albay Gulf is the first salvo of water sports competition being done in Legazpi.
