About 34,000 fishing boats and sardine factory workers in this city are scheduled to return for work after observing a 90-day fish holiday imposed on the commercial fishing operators by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in the Zamboanga peninsula. According to Southern Philippines (SoPhil) Deep Sea Fishing Association Inc. president Engr. Jaydrick Johnson Yap, the 21 commercial fishing boat members and the 11 giant sardine factories in this city under the Industrial Group of Zamboanga Inc. (IGZI) are all ready to resume work starting 1 March.
