    Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Bicol will build a P30 million state-of-the art multi-species hatchery in Ligao City to increase the aquaculture production and sustain the protein requirement of Bicolanos. Nelson Bien, BFAR regional director, met with Third District Rep. Fernando Cabredo and Ligao City Mayor Patricia Gonzalez-Alsua to request for an area for the construction of the hatchery. Bien said the construction will commence next month with a funding of P30 million on a half hectare land owned by the city government.
