    Excerpt
Despite its dipping water level, the Pantabangan Dam in Nueva Ecija can still serve the power and irrigation needs of Central Luzon in July, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said. PAGASA recorded on Saturday morning the dam’s water level at 187.71 meters, or 0.23 meters lower that 24 hours earlier. The dam’s normal-high water level is at 216 meters. PAGASA hydrologist Edgar dela Cruz said the current supply is enough, adding “that dam can still supply water this July.”
