Residents of the island barangay of Olotayan here are relying on rations from the Metro Roxas Water District(MRWD) due to the dry spell brought about by the mild El Niño. Three boats deliver some 200 to 300 containers of MRWD water to Olotayan residents. It takes some two hours for the rations to reach the island barangay. The island barangay has more or less 1,000 residents who rely mainly on fishing for their livelihood.en
