    Five fishermen from the province of Sarangani were rescued after floating off the open sea for more than a day. Authorities identified the rescued fishermen as Yolando Gino, 55 years old; Preceliano Cong, 31; Arnil Sulas, 28; Ronie Gino, 30; and Gilbert Castanares, 42. Based on the report from Mati City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), the five fishermen went to Baganga town in Davao Oriental for business on May 13 onboard their fishing vessel with two attached light boats.
