    On the government's recommendation through President Estrada, the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) has reappointed the chief of the Iloilo-based SEAFDEC Aquaculture Department (AQD) for a third term. The reappointment of Dr. Rolando R. Platon, SEAFDEC AQD chief, for a third two-year term starting this April 8 had been endorsed to President Estrada by Agriculture Secretary Edgardo J. Angara.
