To accelerate transfer of aquaculture technologies, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between the Iloilo-based Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (Seafdec-AQD) and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Bonuan, Pangasinan. The two institutions agreed to demonstrate Seafdec-AQD's aquaculture technologies in demonstration and training centers of BFAR all over the country.
