The search is on for appropriate sites in Mindanao where aquaculture projects to be funded by the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) will be undertaken. This search was initiated by the West Visayas Technology Promotion Center (WVTPC), a consortium of LBP, the Tigbauan, Iloilo-based Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD), University of the Philippines in the Visayas (UPV), and Iloilo State College of Fisheries (ISCOF).
