    Excerpt
Fishers should be armed with technology know-how before they can avail themselves of loans from the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP). This requirement was made clear by LBP when it started collaborating with the Aquaculture Department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (Seafdec-AQD) last year. Seafdec is one of the institutions being tapped by LBP to provide viable technology to fishers who would like to avail themselves of financial assistance from LBP.
