The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (Seafdec) will join the global coastal clean-up on Sept. 18, by ridding the one-kilometer stretch of Buyuan beach of garbage and other coastal debris. To prepare for the activity, Seafdec will host a training workshop on coastal management on Aug. 23. Barangay captains will attend the workshop, and principals of elementary and high schools from Tigbauan and Guimbal.
