    Excerpt
Fishers will have to try aquaculture is they want to lesson the pressures on Maqueda Bay in Samar. Ragay Gulf in Quezon Province and Samal Island in Davao City. These bodies of water used to be among the richest fishing grounds in the country and supported fishing households living along the shore. But not anymore. The decline of fish catch which is attributed to destructive fishing and overexploitation of the resource is adversely affecting them.
