Iloilo's economy is projected to continuously flourish with the establishment of facilities in various parts of the province. In a report, Iloilo Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Unit (LEDIPU) bared that agro-fisheries, tourism, and service industries are among the priority areas in the province. Among the facilities that will support the agro-fishery processing industry of Iloilo include the establishment of a multi-agriculture products processing and packaging complex in Mina and muscovado sugar mill and food and fruit processing plants in Passi City.
