Municipal and barangay officials in Misamis Oriental reported that residents in the area have rescued a wounded baby whale shark or commonly known as butanding along the coast of San Vicente Village, in Baybay Casinglot, Tagoloan Misamis Oriental early Sunday. Officials said that the whale shark — measuring at least two meters long — was found by fishermen struggling along the coast.
