Taking a cue from President Rodrigo Duterte, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Secretary Salvador Panelo on Monday defended the government’s controversial dolomite beach project that is part of the Manila Bay rehabilitation program. In his online program “Counterpoint”, Panelo said that crushed dolomite is also used in many tourist spots around the world. He said the people will benefit from the project once completed.
