    Cebu City river, coastal clean-up set on June 19

    The Cebu City government will conduct its fourth city-wide river and coastal clean-up on Saturday, June 19, 2021. The clean-up activity, which will be led by the Cebu City Coastal Management Task Force (CMTF), is in line with its observance of Philippine Environment Month, which is celebrated every June. Around 3,000 individuals are set to join the clean-up activity. The clean-up activity will start with a short opening ceremony at 5:30 a.m. at the Il Corso Filinvest Life Mall in the South Road Properties (SRP) and the clean-up activity proper will start at 6 a.m.
