SEAFDEC, an acronym for Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center, has been with us since the early '70s. A concordat among Southeast Asian nations established SEAFDEC in 1969 in recognition of the urgent need of increasing food supply and improving the nutritional food standard of the region.
