Guimbal mayor Richard Garin said he will wait for the time that the Southeast Asian Fisheries and Development Center comply with his request to stop water extraction from the Guimbal River before taking more serious actions on the matter. Garin told members of the media Tuesday that he always wanted to preserve the good relationship of the municipal government of Guimbal and Seafdec which is based in Tigbauan, Iloilo, an adjacent town.
